Fr. Daniel's Letter to the Parishioners
Dear Parishioners, The end of October brings the end of our parking lot Masses at Geiger and our Adoration in the parking lot at Holy Family. The other priests in the parish and I would like to thank so many people who made these events happen, and to tell you how wonderful it was to see so many people in the parking lot. I think back to the time when we started this alternative experience and how heart-warming it was to celebrate the Mass with you after months of looking out into empty churches. It was so great to actually see you even if it was through your car window. We have come a long way since then, and it seems we still have a long way to go. What I find amazing is that it did not rain once while we were in the parking lot. The naysayers were objecting when we were thinking of starting parking lot events saying that it might rain.
